President of the National Dialogue Party, MP Fouad Makhzoumi, visited the newly elected Mufti of Tripoli and North Lebanon, Sheikh Mohammed Tarek Imam, at his office at Dar Al-Fatwa in Tripoli.

Following the meeting, Makhzoumi said that the visit was intended to congratulate His Eminence on his election as the permanent Mufti of Tripoli and North Lebanon, wishing him success in carrying out the responsibilities for which he was elected. He reaffirmed that the election of local muftis once again embodies a national duty under the umbrella of Dar Al-Fatwa, which brings everyone together.

Makhzoumi also emphasized the importance of communication between Dar Al-Fatwa and members of Parliament to coordinate efforts on social issues affecting the public, particularly amid the harsh economic conditions.
