President of the National Dialogue Party, MP Fouad Makhzoumi, received Turkish Ambassador Hakan Çakıl at his office in downtown Beirut for a farewell visit marking the end of the ambassador’s tenure. They discussed local, regional, and international developments.

Makhzoumi thanked the ambassador for his active role in strengthening relations between Lebanon and Türkiye, expressing hope that Türkiye would continue to stand by Lebanon amid the country’s difficult economic and living conditions.

Makhzoumi renewed his call for the swift formation of a government, highlighting the importance of beginning work on the necessary reforms to help Lebanon recover and enhance its standing in the eyes of the international community.
