President of the National Dialogue Party, MP Fouad Makhzoumi, received Pakistani Ambassador Najib Durrani at his office in downtown Beirut, in the presence of Political Advisor Dr. Carol Zouein. They discussed local, regional, and international developments.

Following the meeting, Makhzoumi said the discussions addressed the importance of strengthening Lebanese-Pakistani relations. He stressed that Lebanon looked forward to greater cooperation across various fields, particularly in technology and modern technological applications. Makhzoumi renewed his call for the swift formation of a government, highlighting the importance of beginning work on the necessary reforms to achieve the desired development and enhance Lebanon’s image before the world.

The discussions also addressed efforts to combat the coronavirus. Makhzoumi emphasized the need for all countries around the world to cooperate in overcoming the pandemic, which poses a threat to all humanity.
