President of the National Dialogue Party and MP Fouad Makhzoumi received Indonesian Ambassador to Lebanon Dicky Komar. Discussions focused on ways to strengthen bilateral relations between Lebanon and Indonesia and broaden prospects for joint cooperation in ways that serve the interests of both countries and their peoples.

Makhzoumi emphasized the importance of diplomacy in building bridges of communication and fostering openness between nations, as well as the need to further develop economic, cultural, and development cooperation in ways that contribute to supporting Lebanon and advancing its recovery and revitalization.

He also stressed the importance of continuing to engage and cooperate with the international community and strengthening Lebanon’s international presence and foreign relations, based on respect for its sovereignty and support for its legitimate institutions. These efforts, he noted, would help consolidate stability and pave the way for a new phase of development and prosperity.
