President of the National Dialogue Party and MP Fouad Makhzoumi received the newly appointed Saudi Ambassador to Lebanon, Mr. Fahad Al-Dosari, at his office in downtown Beirut, in the presence of Political Adviser Ms. Carol Zouein. The meeting focused on the longstanding and strong Lebanese-Saudi relations and ways to strengthen and further develop them.

Makhzoumi praised Ambassador Al-Dosari, describing him as an outstanding diplomat whose experience, vision, and presence reflect the Kingdom’s stature and leading role in the region.

Makhzoumi noted that, during the meeting, he had sensed His Excellency’s deep commitment to Lebanon and his belief in the importance of strengthening the historic and fraternal ties between the two countries and opening up broader avenues for cooperation. He pointed out that the Kingdom has reaffirmed its confidence in the Lebanese state and its institutions, as well as the importance of supporting them and enhancing their role. He expressed his confidence that Ambassador Al-Dosari’s presence in Beirut would bring significant added value and create new opportunities to deepen these relations.

Makhzoumi affirmed that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has always stood by Lebanon and the Lebanese people and will continue to do so. Today, under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, the Kingdom is confidently pursuing an exceptional transformation, guided by an ambitious vision that has become a source of inspiration across the region and around the world.

Makhzoumi welcomed Ambassador Fahad Al-Dosari to Lebanon and wished him every success in carrying out his noble mission.
