President of the National Dialogue Party, MP Fouad Makhzoumi, received the United Nations Special Coordinator for Lebanon, Joanna Wronecka, at his office in downtown Beirut, in the presence of Political Adviser Dr. Carol Zouein. Discussions focused on local, regional, and international developments.

Following the meeting, Makhzoumi commended the support provided by the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) in the south and its role in monitoring the implementation of Resolution 1701.

Regarding the displacement of Syrians, Makhzoumi reiterated the need to make serious efforts to ensure their return to their homeland, highlighting the economic, social, and demographic burdens that this displacement places on Lebanon and the Lebanese people.
