President of the National Dialogue Party, MP Fouad Makhzoumi, hosted British Ambassador Hamish Cowell for a dinner at his residence.

Makhzoumi emphasized the importance of bilateral relations between Lebanon and the United Kingdom and discussed with the ambassador ways to strengthen them. He also thanked the United Kingdom for its efforts to support Lebanon in overcoming the crisis it is going through.

Makhzoumi further stressed the importance of respecting constitutional deadlines and electing a President of the Republic as soon as possible.
