President of the National Dialogue Party, MP Fouad Makhzoumi, accompanied by Political Adviser Carol Zouein, visited Saudi Ambassador to Lebanon Walid Al-Bukhari at his residence in Yarzeh. They discussed the general situation in Lebanon and ways to strengthen relations between Lebanon and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Makhzoumi thanked Ambassador Bukhari for his efforts to build bridges between the Kingdom and Lebanon. He affirmed that the Kingdom of Goodness, which has always stood by the Lebanese people under various circumstances, will remain a source of support for the Lebanese and a steadfast supporter of stability in our country.

Makhzoumi reiterated the importance of preserving the Taif Agreement, given its role in safeguarding civil peace, national unity, and coexistence, as well as its significance for Lebanon’s relations with its Arab surroundings.
