MPs Ashraf Rifi, Rami Fanj, Bilal Al-Hashimi, Mohammad Suleiman, Imad Al-Hout, Nabil Badr, Abdul Aziz Al-Samad, Yassine Yassine, Waddah Al-Sadek, Ahmad Al-Khair, Walid Al-Baarini, Ihab Matar, and Abdul Rahman Al-Bizri gathered for a dinner hosted at the residence of MP Fouad Makhzoumi.

The fourteen MPs stressed their commitment to the Taif Agreement, the need to preserve it, and the importance of completing its implementation. They also reaffirmed their commitment to Lebanon’s sovereignty, independence, and Arab identity.

The MPs in attendance agreed to work together to support their fellow citizens in various regions, amid the complete absence of the state. They emphasized the importance of cooperation to improve people’s living conditions, particularly in humanitarian and social matters, and to ensure justice amid the total collapse of state institutions and the absence of institutions that provide essential safeguards.
