President of the National Dialogue Party, MP Fouad Makhzoumi, met with Chinese Ambassador to Lebanon Wang Kejian, in the presence of Political Adviser Dr. Carol Zouein. They discussed local, regional, and international developments.

Following the meeting, Makhzoumi stressed the importance of relations between Lebanon and China, highlighting the need to strengthen cooperation, particularly in trade. He expressed hope that Lebanon could capitalize on its geographical position as a gateway to other countries in the region. He also noted that China’s growing economic role could help promote development in various sectors in Lebanon and the wider region.

Makhzoumi expressed his hope that the coronavirus outbreak would be contained as soon as possible and that its spread would be curbed. The Ambassador reassured him regarding the health and well-being of Lebanese citizens residing in China.
