President of the National Dialogue Party and MP Fouad Makhzoumi received Czech Ambassador to Lebanon Ester Lauverová at his office in downtown Beirut, in the presence of Political Adviser Dr. Carol Zouein. Discussions focused on local, regional, and international affairs, as well as current political and security developments.

Makhzoumi emphasized the importance of Lebanese-Czech relations, praising the bonds of friendship and cooperation between the two countries across various fields. He expressed his interest in further strengthening these ties, particularly in the economic, investment, and development sectors.

Makhzoumi stressed the importance of restoring the confidence of the Arab and international communities in Lebanon. He noted that President of the Republic General Joseph Aoun’s visit to Washington marked an important milestone, reaffirming support for Lebanon and efforts to strengthen the state and its legitimate institutions.

He affirmed that Lebanon’s commitment to implementing reforms and consolidating state sovereignty constitutes the essential foundation for opening up new avenues for Arab and international support, economic stability, and development.
