Recent developments within the European Union in light of Brexit and its implications for European countries were the main focus of my discussion with Minister for European Affairs Vincenzo Amendola during our meeting yesterday in Rome.
I conveyed my best wishes for success to the incoming President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, particularly in light of the many challenges facing the European Union.
