We discussed regional and international developments, focusing on the shared burdens facing Lebanon and Jordan as a result of the Syrian crisis. I also stressed the importance of strengthening cooperation at all levels, particularly in trade, with a specific focus on activating border crossings between Arab countries, which would help revitalize Arab economies.

These were the key points discussed during the luncheon hosted by Jordanian House of Representatives Speaker, Engineer Atef Tarawneh, which I attended.
