Environmental issues in Beirut and across all regions of Lebanon were the focus of the CSR Forum on Social Responsibility, which I attended at the kind invitation of the organizers.

At the Makhzoumi Foundation, we were among the first to work on promoting sound environmental practices, particularly waste sorting, by raising awareness among young people and future generations. Our goal is to build an environmentally conscious generation that understands the importance of a culture of waste sorting through initiatives such as “Yalla Nefrez” (“Let’s Sort”).

We also support the Ministry of Environment in ensuring a safe and healthy Lebanon for future generations.
