Fouad Makhzoumi, President of the National Dialogue Party and Member of Parliament, accompanied by his political adviser, Dr. Carol Zouein, visited Walid bin Abdullah Al-Bukhari, Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to Lebanon.
Following the meeting, Makhzoumi renewed his thanks to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, its King and Crown Prince, may God protect them, for their continued commitment to Lebanon’s stability and security.
He stressed that the Kingdom of Goodness has consistently stood by the Lebanese people in all circumstances and will continue to do so. He also called for preserving the strong, historic relationship between Lebanon and the Kingdom, which has welcomed thousands of Lebanese people to its territory over the years.
Makhzoumi said that Lebanon has always been, and will remain, a symbol of openness, communication, and coexistence. He emphasized the importance of keeping the country بعيد from regional power-bloc politics and the crises affecting the region, noting that Lebanon needs all the support it can receive, whether from its Arab brothers or from friends in both the Islamic and Western worlds.
